Stage

THEATER

I found my love for writing one-act plays by participating in the 24-Hour Play Festival during college. My creations were strange with such titles as “Office of The Afterlife" and “Rage on Drums". In Los Angeles, my one-act play “Advanced Placement", a comedic look at two teenagers dealing with their parents' divorce in the middle of an AP European class, featured in the Mixtape: Original One-Act Festival. I also directed my one-act play “Til Un-Death Do Us Part", a tragicomedy of a wedding party trapped on a boat during a zombie attack, for the Friends of Friends One-Act Festival.

IMPROV

I started performing improvisational comedy in college through the University of North Carolina's troupe - Chapel Hill Players (CHiPs). I served as Artistic Director and Training Director while on the team. I also performed on multiple teams at the local Dirty South Improv Theater. When I moved to Los Angeles, I trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and graduated into the Advanced Study Program. I performed with several independent teams on stages across town, including UCB, Second City, and Improv Olympic West (R.I.P.).
